Jon Taylor Bush
July 16, 1976 - July 17, 1999
Jon was born on July 16, 1976 in Center, Texas to Joann and Taylor Bush.  He was very athletic all the way up through high school in football as a star linebacker.  He was the pitcher for the Center Roughrider Baseball team.  Jon received all district honors in both sports.  During his senior year he was voted "Class Favorite" and "Most Handsome" by his classmates.  He loved to play golf and hunt.  His most favorite times were being spent playing with his baby girl, Macy.  There was not a person that he came across who didn't like him.  At the time of his death, he was co-owner of Bob's Pawn and Gun Shop in Center, Texas.

Jon is remembered for his charm, wittiness, love, and generosity.  He is missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on for generations.
A million times we'll miss you
A million times we'll cry
If love could have saved you,
You never would have died.
Things we feel most deeply
Are the hardest things to say,
Our dearest one, we have loved you,
In a very special way.
We often sit and think of you
And think how you died.
To think we couldn't say good-bye,
Before you closed your eyes.
No one can know our loneliness,
And no one can see us weeping,
All our tears from aching hearts
While others are sleeping.
If we had one lifetime wish,
a dream that could come true,
We'd pray to God, with all our hearts,
For yesterday and you.
